Sunswept 204

The proximity to the beach and location in Orange Beach was excellent. We like a smaller complex too. The unit itself could use a few upgrades. New towels would especially be nice. Also extra (and upgraded) bedding is definitely needed. Kitchen is well stocked. I would recommend the complex but maybe not this particular unit.

My husband and I had a nice experience. Clean, cool and convenient location to everything. And the water's edge is only 250 feet from condo to ocean! Sweet!!!

Great vacation destination!

The condo was clean and beautiful. Me and my wife enjoyed staying. We had a grate time. We have been to Sun Swept four the last four years and have had no issues. Grate place to stay and relax on the beach.

Had a wonderful stay at Sunswept 204 . Awesome views, great location and could walk up if didn’t want to use stairs. Condo was clean and as described. Staff were helpful and provided recommendations when asked for restaurants in the area. Within walking distance of grocery stores and few restaurants. Overall great experience and will come back.

We have stayed here many times over the years. Was perfect when coming with family and still perfect as 60 somethings. Lots of places you can easily walk to. 3 grocery stores to choose from. Not far from walking trails.

We stay here when in town . This time was crowded and weather was not good but oh well . Sea food super .

Great condo! We really enjoyed the condo, beach, shopping , restaurants, etc. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.
I’m glad that I had brought my own sheets though. Don’t think the mattress covers had been changed or washed. The couches could use some cleaning or covering. We just used the extra sheets. Other than that we were pleasantly impressed.

A good place to stay . A good area . The folks are good . Murray probably spent an hour just trying to get a tv remote to work and went and picked one up .

Nice clean unit. Friendly, helpful host. The half bath is a plus. Many grocery stores and restaurants within walking distance. Everything worked as it should. Too cold to use the pool but they cleaned it everyday anyway. Nice location near the pool with great Beach views.

King bed super comfy. Loved the convenience of being only one floor up. Using stairs instead of elevator. Great location. Super nice guy at checkin. We will be back

Great view would prefer to be a little higher up next visit , Furniture in living room & Bedroom was nice, The location was perfect & convenient for our dining & concert Plans ! Sherry was very professional & Nice on arrival !Only complaint was needed more bathroom counter space!

The only complaint that I would register is that we had to mop the floors when we arrived. Everything else was acceptable.

Sunswept 204 was a perfect accommodation for the long beach weekend my husband and I the opportunity to take. The unit was clean and comfortable and furnished with everything we needed. The half bath, which most 1 bedroom units don't have, essentially gave each of us our own bathroom. The complex itself was beautifully maintained and the Coastal Property personnel were very friendly and helpful. Other than the erratic weather which varied from stormy to clear blue skies and sunshine, it was altogether a perfect weekend!

We like Sunswept at Orange Beach . Location is suoer and people are super.

Enjoyed our stay in 204 condo. We love how close the beach is to the place. We had a few miles first to visit friends in West Palm Beach then we decided to stop in orange beach. The staff at Sunswept are great. We hope Sunswept confinues to be available for years to come.

We love staying here whenever we're able to come to the beach. Our condo was just the right size for myself, husband and our 9 yr old son. I love that it has a full kitchen and the pool is just downstairs. Then that takes you straight to the beautiful beach!

This property was well represented by the pictures. Very clean and well kept. Staff was friendly and helpful, attentive to our various needs throughout the week. The location and view were amazing!

Honestly we were disappointed in our stay. We had emailed about the property several times ahead of time and finally were able to get in touch through a phone call. They never responded to the email. When we arrived our smoke detector in the room was going off due to a low battery. We removed the smoke detector and within an hour the alarm for the flush valve on the toilet starting going off. We called the number that was given to let them know and were told to just turn the water off and they would send a plumber up the next day. Luckily the plumber also replaced the smoke detector the next day. The end our stay was just as bad as we were awakened through the night to loud kids outside and the next morning realized they had vandalized our balcony and all outside at the resort. The pool was then closed for the rest of our stay due to the vandalism. I recognize that our trip was hopefully just a lemon and that others are usually better, but it was rough for what we hoped would be a relaxing family vacation.

This room was directly over the pool which was very noisy and the view was not good. There was no lounge chair or comfortable chair to sit in on the balcony the view was directly blocked by the railings. We have stayed at Sun Swept several times but this was not a pleasant stay.

It was a great location! The apartment was very small but was fine for us and our small grandson. The floor was not cleaned very well but other than that just needed furniture updated.

The complex is very old. The unit was ok. Old toliets and tub/shower fixture.Clean but not exceptionally clean. Outside breezeways and elevators were always very dirty. They had construction going on and workers were tearing out walls on the buildings. They would be working very close to the balconies of the units making it very awkward to sit and enjoy the balcony area. A lot of banging and construction noise that would begin very early. This should have be noted on the VRBO ad that major construction was going on. Beach was nice though.

Its a perfect location and the accommodations are great. Feels like home every time we come to the property and 204 feels welcoming and perfect for a beach stay, regardless of the season. We have been at this property many times and in the same unit at least 3 or 4 times so far. I don't know what else the owners could offer except for maybe some 3 in one oil for the squeaky sofa bed. :-) I will stay here again.

Rental space was nice and comfortable. We would probably be more comfortable staying on a higher floor b/c everyone that come in from pool look up at you. Also people can see thru sliding glass doors from beach at night when you have the blinds open.

A friend and I just needed a restful weekend. It was perfect. Everyone was polite and nice. We are early birds ,so I was worried about being right above the pool (2nd) floor, however when when sleep all was quiet. Would definitely recommend. I also slept on the couch bed and was very comfortable.

It was the perfect condo for our Anniversary. Some of the greatest Seafood Restaurants are all around. LIVE MUSIC is as close as 3 minutes away. We enjoyed our stay, BEAUTIFUL view from balcony looking out at the white sands, the Gulf and pool. Sitting on the balcony for breakfast and coffee every morning. :) Very clean Unit ... so freshly redecorated and the Property Management Staff were more than welcoming. Looking forward to going back. Easy to make reservations. Good value for the money. Easy check-in. Beach access right out back of property. Good security measures in place. Rachel was very professional and gave us good info about property and surrounding area.

This unit has a great view of the beach it also has great beach access and to the pool area.

This was my first time staying at this location. The room was well laid out with beautiful views. Smaller condo on the 2nd floor in a convenient area. The room was clean and cute. The sofa sleeper was uncomfortable for my college aged son who is 170lbs. He said he could feel the coils. Having a bath & a half was a plus! Plenty of room to share. Staff at the complex were kind and helpful too. We would stay here again.

Had a very nice time. Husband having health problems would have like to have more comfortable patio furniture, but it was every nice place to to stay. We would go back always enjoy staying there. It was sad to see hazels closed . The staff there are always friendly and helpful. I love that where it is you can walk to stores .

The condo was very nice and we had a wonderful girls trip. However, the kitchen was not as equipped as we would have liked: there were no plastic containers or bowls for mixing items up in. The lamps in the bedroom did not work. We had difficulty with the main door lock number pad; called maintenance and they were very prompt on coming and putting in a new lock. The ice maker did not make but only a few ice cubes. Other than that(minor things easily fixed)out trip was great!! Will stay here again and recommend it to friends!.

We loved the 1br apartment it was just what we needed. close to the pool and to the beach.

This condo is on the beach and has a wonderful view of the coast. Howver, this unit needs some serious updating. The furniture is worn out, the walls are scuffed up, and the appliances have rust spots on them. The condo also smelled musty, and the ceiling also has a lot of water damage. I expected a nicer unit considering how much I paid to stay here. We probably will not stay here again.

We have been staying at Sunswept for some 18 years now when we come to Orange Beach. While a few times we have stayed at other places, we keep coming back because we love the overall feel and atmosphere Sunswept provides. Rooms that fit our needs, the overall facility as well as the location. The only problem we experienced was getting into the late check-in box and had to make several calls before we could get in.

We made a last minute reservation during spring break week where most places were booked. Since there were two of us finding this one bedroom was perfect and of course the cost was appropriate. The unit was on the 2nd floor which I loved as I hate taking elevators!! It was a quick stair trip to the car, pool or beach. The only flaw I can think of was there was a tear in the comforter on the bed so hopefully management will have it replaced. Outside of that the unit was pretty well what we expected for the timing we made the reservations and the price we paid.

A perfect condo for a couple. This condo had everything we needed. The location was ideal with 3 grocery stores across the street and a mall with a number of nice restaurants. Beach front balcony was awesome. I wished I had brought my bincoulars to watch the dolphins that would regularly jump out of the water. Kitchen was well equipped and perfectly set up. Bed was very comfortable. Spotless! All in all a great place!

we are used to and could use a good overall cleaning particularly the floors. Furnishings were good but as it stands now we could not recommend this unit to anyone else.

When we walked into the rental, we knew it would be perfect. We weren't looking for anything fancy or brand new; we just needed a decent place to stay for a decent price. The staff was very nice, and even the other guests were very friendly. Our first morning, we realized that the basket was missing from our coffee pot and we couldn't make coffee, so we boiled water and made it the old-fashioned way. When the office opened, we let them know, and they gave us a brand new coffee maker. It was like being comfy at home, sonwe didn't want to leave. I loved being right on the beach with a Gulf front view. The pool was very nice, pretty big, and the kids loved it.

Overall a nice stay, great location near grocery stores if you plan to cook, but the unit is a little older and dark. It didn't help that 2 of the 3 lamps in the living room didn't work and or the bulbs were burned out. It is right on the pool so if you want privacy and to still be able to see in the living room this unit isn't for you. Once you close the sun shades it's extremely dark with no working lamps. It served our purpose for somewhere to sleep, but for the price we will not be renting again. Our trip was last minute so availability was limited in the area, but with a little research and a couple hundred dollars more look elsewhere, it's worth it. Keep in mind not much open as of restaurants near here after 11PM.

The pool area kept up and very nice. Had a few issues with the condo. The sliding door to the balcony was very difficult to open and close due to the door being old and probably needs to be replaced. My husband when we arrive actually had to fix the handle to the sliding door because it was about ready to fall off. Wasn't please about seeing roaches. Had trouble with the one key opening exterior door. I realize this is an older condo but feel it needed upgrades.

This was our third family vacation at Sunswept. My husband and I were in unit 204; daughter and her family (plus one guest) were in unit 307; and son and his family were in unit 507. Ages of our group ranged from 3 years old to 59. We all had a great time as usual. Perfect location directly on the beach. Grocery stores, shopping and restaurants just across the street. Umbrellas and lounges available for rental directly behind the property on the beach. We love the smaller size of the property. The pool is larger than one would expect. Everything very clean and well maintained. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this property and have done so. We had wonderful meals nearby, especially at Wolf Bay. The older kids in the group loved the parasailing. We also appreciate the area for grilling and use it when we stay. We saw dolphins every morning and every afternoon. On two mornings we saw them jumping all the way out of the water. We will definitely be back. Can't wait!!

This was our first experience at Orange Beach. Our condo was clean, well located, and had the necessary amenities. I would suggest leaving at least 2 coffee filters for the coffee pot, an extra set of towels, and extra toilet tissue. This gives your guests time to settle in and get the items needed for their stay. That being said, the shopping was convenient. The local restaurants were very good and family friendly. The beach was clean, well patrolled, and staff was courteous. Customer service was excellent. The only complaint was I did find several roaches throughout the stay. I do understand this can be an issue even in our own homes throughout the year. Otherwise it was a great stay and we loved Orange Beach!! Will be back!!

First off I booked through Hotels . com and was not provide any information on check in. We arrived there and was not able to get checked in since no one was there. Then I had to call 2 times until I finally was able to get someone to call back. I waited outside for over an hour with an angry 3 year old. I should have cancelled altogether but did not because I was going to get charged a fee. Finally had a gentleman call and say that he would be there to let us in but I felt like I was a big inconvenience for him. Upon check in he wanted to collect more money for the cleaning service. We paid through mentioned site above and it said nothing about an additional charge. It was suppose to be close to $200 for the 2 night stay for a cleaning fee... In my head I am thinking well if its that much then the room will be clean. We finally entered our room and was just happy to be inside. Just walking around the room our feet quickly started to look dirty and black. So apparently they need to hire a new cleaning crew or it could be that the gross carpet they have outside the condo needs to be ripped up and replaced. Also the elevators could use a cleaning as the floors were crusted with black stuff too. The positive is that my kids and I could go down and enjoy the beach and come back up to eat lunch. The bed in the bedroom was comfortable. Cons would be the nasty floors, customer service was not that great and they want to charge you to park in the parking lot which could also use a good power wash. Overall I would not recommend this place to anyone. EVER!

Nice clean condo with awesome views of the gulf, in the perfect location in Orange Beach. The one thing lacking here is there is no ice maker in the refrigerator/freezer. That would be nice to have.

Love staying in this area. Though it's an older building, it's small and very convenient to restaurants and grocery stores. Parking lot is well lit and safe. Condo could use some updates and remodeling, but overall nice. Nice pool area and lovely views. Beach is beautiful and clean! Not crowded at all in the fall months. Management was very nice to deal with and helpful. We will go back!
